We are a 911 system located in the Upstate of beautiful South Carolina. We have EMS dedicated dispatch that allows highly trained Communication Specialists to evaluate the needs of the 911 caller and send the closest, most appropriate amount of resources. Our Communications Specialists are both medically trained and nationally certified. We employ Paramedics and Intermediates full time.
Currently our fleet consists of 15 staffed ambulances, Quick Response Vehicles and 3 Supervisor Units. We work 12-hours shifts, straight days or nights, with every other weekend being a 3-day weekend. Additionally, we have 4 Power Trucks that operate from 0500-1900, 0800-2000, 0900-2100 and 1100-2300. Each of our 4 shifts has a Shift Lieutenant, 3 Shift Sergeants, a Corporal Training Officer and 4 Field Training Officers.

The majority of the employees here attend monthly In-Service Training Sessions to keep training up to date and avoid having to re-take the National Registry Exam. In addition to monthly training, we also have skills check offs to ensure competency in the field.
